How to change the order of input controls

I want to change the order that the input controls appear to the user when they launch the report.    It appears that the order is determined by the order that the input controls were created. 

 

Question: how or can I change the order?

In the jasper studio, Parameters can be dragged up and down.

@reportdev the order of the input controls in studio will not be the same as the order of the portal.

Unfortunately, you have to recreate the input controls to change the order.

I will suggest you to create separated input controls, then reference these input controls from your report. This way you don't need to recreate them, just re-link them.

Also, in this way, you can change the order of the input controls by modifying the report xml file.

(In Studio repository view) you can also cut/paste input controls out of the report directory into a temporary directory and then cut/paste each control back into your report directory in the order you require.
