Maximum Rows allowed within jaspersoft for all reports in Jasper

Requirement is to limit the no. of rows returned within Jasper by default. Can we achieve it through changing something on data source level or at one place. So that changes imply for all the reports.

There is no opiton to configure this on a server-wide level. You'll have to limit the number of records on report level in query.

For Ad Hoc reports however it is possible to configure the row limit across the server. The default limit is 100,000 rows
