problems under linux - pdf

2002-07-03 07:18

Hi Teodor,

So far we have been using Jasper under Windows. When we decided to try it with Linux we found out that most of the data is not displayed in the pdf. I think it is a problem with the fonts. The path to the font is correct. I even tried it with a single font but I did not have success. Here is the font element that I use:

<reportFont fontName="Arial" isDefault="true" isPdfEmbedded="false" name="Arial_Normal" pdfEncoding="Cp1252" pdfFontName="Helvetica" size="8"/>

Either I am specifying: <font reportFont="Arial_Normal"/>

or nothing - it is the default font :-))

Could you help me?

Thank you.

Hi,

You have this problem in the JasperViewer?

I mean, the problem is present in the .jrprint format

also or it is only a PDF file problem?

If there is some text missing on your reports,

try to make your text fields and static text

elements a little taller at design time

(1 or 2 pixels taller).

I hope this helps.

Teodor
