Formatting Chart Label - Too many decimal places

Applied this to the advanced tab on the chart format pallette

series.dataLabels.enabled    {point.y:.2f}

On the mouseover for each column on the chart everything has 2 decimal places, yet on the chart itself a couple of columns have 6 and 14 decimal places.

How to ensure 2 decimal places on each column ? - any guidance appreciated.

Could you add screen shot. Not sure what you mean. 
Is it the actual values on X or Y access or the Z values. Or is it the values in the tooltip that is different.

Or there are other properties in chart where you can change formatting for given objects.

Thanks for the feedback, using these two togther fixed the problem.
