manshack_one
Anyone had to do this? My network admins ran a sweep and figured out the bundled Postgre with JS 6.0.1 is a bit out of date. Can you just update Postgre without major issues?
elizam
You should be able to update this, yes.
manshack_one
Ok, would you happen to have a link to a write up for how to do a binary file update versus a full blown installer update? My biggest concern is that something functionally might change and since jasperserver was built with 9.0 in mind it might break how the program functions. hozawa
If you did a war JasperReports Server installation, you can just upgrade Postgresql.http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/tibco-jasperreports-server-community-project-installation-guide/v630/installing-warIf you didn't, recommend that you export your site and do a JasperReports Server war installation and import the site back in. If you look at the supported databases, it's Postgresql 9.1 or higher so 9.6 is a supported database version.http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/v630/tibco-jasperreports-server-supported-platform-datasheet
