How to create line graph in jaspereport ??

I have to plot line graph for value verses date i.e. value on y axis and date on x- axis.If two values appear for single date.. then does line graph shows two points for single date??/

Yes, the type of chart you want is a combination of bar and line chart generally referred as Multi-Axis charts which has to be selected as the desired chart type.

For example;
X axis displays date and Y axis displays "Issues", "Bugs" and "Sales" (as shown in the image).
