Need help w/servlet

I'm sure this is a standard post as I've went through all 11k and 6k posts from both forums..

 

What I'm trying to do is build my report with iReport then run that report against live data. Does anyone have a generic sample that I can modify to accomplish this?

not being clear..

 

after the report is built w/ iReport I want to run it with a application (Oracle Forms) which then kicks off code to run the report. I'm not worried about the forms interface just need a java (?) servlet/applet(?) to run the report when I specify.
