The JasperReports Ultimate Guide has been updated

and it is again available for purchase at the following

location:

This second edition of the guide covers all the

functionality added to the library up till version 1.0.0.

Hi, I was glad to see that the JasperReports Ulitmate Guide is available again as a second edition. However the page mentioned by Teodor still states the the guide is in construction and there no link to proceed with the purchase process. I am in an urgent need for the guide, since I have to solve some problems and proceed with my work.

 

So, when it is *really* available ?

Hi Teodor,

 

We want to run JasperReports on Sybase ASE Express

Edition (Linux). Please help us get JasperReports installation and configuration guide.

 

We would be using JasperReports for the first time. Hence we would first like to go through the freely available documentation. Once we know more about JasperReports, we would buy The JasperReports Ultimate Guide.

 

Please help.

Hi,

 

All the freely available documentation for JasperReports

is distributed inside the /docs directory of the project

source files package downloadable from Sourceforge.net.

 

Also, inside the package there are more than 30 small

samples placed under the /demo/samples directory

that would help you get a better sense of what

JasperReports do in terms of reporting capabilities.

There have been a few questions on the mailing lists about upgrading to the new version of the Ultimate Guide if you purchased the 1.0 version. We will be making the new version available free of charge to the people who purchased the original Ultimate Guide in the next few days.

 

In order to get a free copy of the new version you will need to provide us with a copy of the original RegSoft order confirmation (if you have it) or the name and email that was used when you purchased the Guide. We will have the formal procedure posted in the next few days, including where to go to provide the information.
