RTF Export in JasperReports 1.0 included

Hi,

 

The ultimate guide, second edition generally mentions RTF export support here and there.

 

However, in JRViewer an option fpr RTF export is not available and a saver class similar to the other export options does not seem to exist.

 

So, could somebody explain the current status on RTF export. I need this information to complete a specification document for a new project in which JasperReports will be utilized.

Hi,

 

The RTF exporter was mentioned in the guide because it will be part of our release later this week.

If you want to see how it works you can get the CVS version and you'll see that almost all samples output to RTF also.

 

We are currently preparing the 1.0.1 release that will ship this exporter along with other various improvements and fixes.
