Modularization of Jasper reports: Pass data source to subreport without unnecessary db roundtrips?

Hi,

(referenced some quite insufficient jaspersoft answers in there as well)

It would be nice if somebody could provide

• some feedback of the state of the issue
• a nice solution
• a well documented workaround (since this use case seems quite obvious and common to me)
