In Search of MySQL and JasperReports

2005-05-03 18:15

Hi,

Anyone using JasperReports running on a MySQL database?

JasperSoft and MySQL AB are looking for some cool applications using JasperReports and MySQL. We would like to highlight these applications on both MySQL's and JasperSoft's website as a Case Studies. See example:

http://www.mysql.com/it-resources/case-studies/yahoo.php

This is a great way to give your application some exposure, and help to show how JasperReports and MySQL can be used together (no confidential or sensitive information would be published.)

You probably know that JasperSoft and MySQL have a budding partnership and are looking for ways to more tightly integrate the two products. Check out the new JasperReports DBA Dashboard for MySQL that highlights database stats and performance metrics across a large number of MySQL database servers. This is just a start to what we could do.

You can help by telling us how you are using the two products. In addition to publishing a few cool JasperReports/MySQL application case studies, learning more about how JasperReports and MySQL are used together will help us determine where to invest future resources.

Thanks for your help,

As you can see from my earlier post, JasperSoft and MySQL are looking for some examples of JasperReports running off of a MySQL database. One thing I forgot to mention is that anyone who helps us out and can talk about or publicize their application will receive an iPod courtesy of JasperSoft and MySQL. Shuffle, Mini, even the new Photo could be yours, or a wonderful gift for a friend.

Your help appreciated!
