[ANN] JasperAssistant 1.5.4 released

JasperAssistant (http://www.jasperassistant.com) is a visual report designer for JasperReports, a popular open-source reporting engine. It is built on top of the Eclipse's plug-in architecture and its main goal is to help you create JasperReports report definition files through an intuitive graphical interface.

 

What's new:

 

* Support for JasperReports 0.6.7.

* Support for Eclipse 3.1 milestone releases.

* Nudge element position actions (Ctrl+Arrows shortcuts)

* Nudge element size actions (Ctrl+Shift+Arrows shortcuts)

* Import subreport parameters wizard.

* Convert static text to text field action.

 

Other minor changes:

 

* Multiple drag&drop from the Outline View.

* Snap to grid on resize behaviour can be configured to match the one in Crystal Reports.

* Improved Copy&Paste actions.

* Double-click on subreport parameter opens the expression editor.

* Copy&Paste support for subreport parameters.

* Subreport parameters are now always ordered by name in the Outline View.
