Jaspersoft BI Professional for AWS - Upgrade from 5.0.3 to 5.1

What is the upgrade process for the AWS version?  Will you be coming out with a new AMI or should we upgrade our instance?

Please help clear up my confusion:

 

Page 23:

Create a new instance that uses the Commercial AMI v2 JRS 5.1.

For instructions on creating an instance, see“Creating a JasperReports Server Instance” on page 6 or “Creating a JasperReports Server Instance from the EC2 Console” on page 10.

 

Page 13 for selecting an AMI:

Enter Jaspersoft BI Professional for AWS in the Search box.

 

 

I only find 2 AMIs when searching "Jaspersoft"

Jaspersoft BI Professional for AWS v5.0.3-855efcad-bd21-459e-8a9b-6d0068a0b46c-ami-ec45d385.1

and

Jaspersoft BI v5.1

 

The first one does not appear to be the latest release and the second one does not match your documentation. Is that an official AMI created by Jaspersoft?

Yes, you want to use the AMI "Jaspersoft BI Professional for AWS v5.1".

It's the same file, with more than one name. Thanks' for catching that in the doc!

The 5.1 version of "Jaspersoft BI Professional for AWS" just went live on Marketplace today.  The correct name to search for is:

"Jaspersoft BI Professional for AWS v5.1"
