jasper reports structure?

I have reseached reporting tools, esp., jasper reports, i am interested in it, but i don't know the structure. Please help me this.

What do you want to know?

 

the report-structure... well the very basics: a report constist (like most other reports) of some static bands (like Title, PageHeader, ColumnHeader, Detail, ColumnFooter, PageFooter, LastPageFooter, Summary ... ) and of some dynamic bands (group-header/footer) ... so I guess looking at the samples in combination with the openSource Designer "iReport" would be a very good start to dig into JasperReports.

 

and last but not least THAT FORUM.... it's quite often visited and you can get a lot of useful information out of it.

But please use the SEARCH-FUNCTION first before start posting. :-)
