oesina
Studio would probably support Jaspersoft 4.7.1 onwards.

neil.elliott
I think this was probably the issue. Because the download didn't included config options around network connection like normal Eclipse does, I downloaded Eclipse and then added the Jaspersoft Studio plug-in and this seem to resolve the problems. chicuslavic
you want to say it's not working with stand alone RCP version?

Solution neil.elliott Posted April 30, 2013 Author Solution Share Posted April 30, 2013 The answer, or at least a way around it, is mentioned in my comment above.I downloaded Eclipse and then added the Jaspersoft Studio plug-in and this resolved the connection matter. But I was then receiving exceptions when opening up reports. In the end I just left it and went back to iReport.
ctfranco_1
I've seen several threads in the forum where you complain about connection problems between jasperstudio and JasperServer.I can not connect from jasperstudio.5.2.0CE to jasperserver.5.2.0CEall other thred in the forums contain only requests is all unanswered. If no one takes the trouble to answer, I think it wanted to entice you to switch to the paid version?I apologize for my imperfect English.Sincerely
ctfranco_1
the problem on 64 bit machine with 32bit application, see my answer to the link http://community.jaspersoft.com//questions/818979/connection-jasperstudio-52-ce-jasperserver-52-ce But the fact remains that no one cares to answer questions of those who are in difficulty setting.
