adam704a
I am seeing an unexpected result when I am running a report that groups data. I am not sure if this is how the dataset looks, but in the report its always omitting the first down. I know that the resultset includes this first row, but its just not showing up in the report. Two questions here: has anyone seen something similiar to this For the data to be grouped using jasper studio (ir ireport) does the dataset need to be ordered in any particular way? Thanks Adam
lisacbeaton
Can you post your XML file? And in response to 2, yes, order the data by your grouping field.
adam704a
Here is my JRXML: https://gist.github.com/4665924 Here is the data: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10706440/results.csv (which will only return one of the two rows) Thanks for the help! dprogrammer
Play around with 'Evaluation Time' property. It might be causing it. Are your fields in variables? Because sometimes variables have this issue.
adam704a
I tried adding evaluationTime and evaluationGroup, still no luck. As you can see from my code, I am using variables for the group subtotals, but thats about it. I am I misusing these variables?
