Is there a way to have the x / y coordinates in a reportElement variable?

 

<reportElement x=$V{ValueX} y="0" width="60" height="15">

dosn't work, but that's basically what i would like to do.

The point would be to insert a new column into the report if some boolean parameter is set to true.

Hi,

 

Unfortunately, this is not possible.

Maybe sometime in the future.

 

Have you tried to use the "printWhenExpression" ?

Check the Tips & Tricks section for some ideas

about how to use it.
