joethejet
Hi, Does the most current version of iReport allow you to set the net.sf.jasperreports.export.jexcelapi.use.temporary.file property? Thanks.
ernestoo
Hi, as of version 3.7.5 this property is enabled. See this bug/feature request: http://jasperforge.org/projects/jasperreports/tracker/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=4262
joethejet
yes, I know they added it to Jasper, I was wondering if iReport had added support via a check box or something like that.I haven't found it in my search. Thanks.
cbarlow3
I'm using iReport Professional 3.7.1.1, and I couldn't find it, although I'm pretty sure I looked where it would be: Tools | Options | Export Options | Excel | JExcelAPI options. So far, the only two options on that pane are a checkbox for "Create Custom Palette" and a text box for "Password". I believe this version of iReport Professional is using the 3.7.0 version of JasperReports Professional, so that would probably explain the absence of a checkbox for this...at least in iReport Professional.Carl
joethejet
Hi Carl, Thanks for checking. I know the property wasn't added until version 3.7.5 of JasperReports so I'm guessing that's why you're not seeing it. Of course, I don't see it in version 3.7.6 either! Near as I can tell, it's just something you have to add by adding a property to the report in the properties dialog.
