database connection

Hi,

I use iReport with Jasper and i have found 2 places to configure the database connection, but it still points to another machine.

It sounds crazy for me ??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!

I set the connection details both in the database icon and the data sources folder.

Does anybody has an idea?

u can check ur Database icon JDBC URL connection and Server Address.

 

that should be point to corresponding database and same time confogID

 

exp:if the database is ur local it should point ur JDBC URL connection and Server Address as localhost

 

JDBC URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost/icbadwh

Server Address as : localhost

 

if it's different system u should keyin localhost as that system configID.

 

if still u got problem give screen shot's of those two connection settings.

Thank you for your answer.

The configuration in iReport is perfect.

BUT i have discovered that on the web-browser-interface of Jasper the database connection was set to Locally Defined with the wrong IP and not to the From the Repository.

I have changed it to the "From the repository" and now really points to the correct BD.
