yes,can possible,when u deploying ur application in jasper report server,u need to create those parameters...and select type of popups when ur creating parameters in jasper report server...

instude of using group by clause in query level,u can use group by property of i-reports.

hi, i am trying to create datasource by using following parameters in jasperserver4.0, 1.Datasource-->add resource--->datasource 2.Type :JDBC Datasource 3. Name: abcd ResourceID:abcd Description : abcd Driver:com.mysql.jdbc.Driver URL: jdbc:mysql://10.255.3.237:3306/mysqldbname user name: root password:root save location: datasources and finaly i clicked SUBMIT button,but the datasource(abcd) not saved at datasource,could u pls let me know any one?wht is the cause...i am getting this issue with jasperreportserver 4.0. regards

u can export ur report by using PDF from tab Preview.

u can check ur Database icon JDBC URL connection and Server Address. that should be point to corresponding database and same time confogID exp:if the database is ur local it should point ur JDBC URL connection and Server Address as localhost JDBC URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost/icbadwh Server Address as : localhost if it's different system u should keyin localhost as that system configID. if still u got problem give screen shot's of those two connection settings.
