2006 IR Open Discussion
By: Alexander Wallace - aows Correct mailing label design. 2003-10-20 13:33 Hi there! I need to print continuos labels to a dot matrix printer (the perforated ones) that measure 8.89 by 2.4 cm. I've assumed that to be the page size and so i made the xml design based on that with 0 cms for margins, 1 column, colum width is 8.89, etc. The result is one label per page, it all looks good, but doesn't print good. Wether I print directly to the printer or using the viewer, the dialog shows paper size as letter. Wether I print or export to pdf and then print, It still prints one label in a "letter size" set of labels. The question is then, what is the correct way to design a report for continuos labels. Plus, the print dialog only displays a limmited set of paper sizes, should it not take the paper size of the report? Thanks in advance.
