Suggestion: a solution to JRClassLoader issue

2003-02-11 19:37

Hi, Teodord,

I download version 0.45 and it seems that this JRClassLoader issue has not find a suitable solution.

see

https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=601648&group_id=36382&atid=416703

Whether use current thread class loader or JRClassLoader.class class loader as the parent class loader in JRClassLoader.getInstance() has been in delimma. Here is my suggestion:

Provides an API to allow the user to make the decision by him/herself. For example, an API like

useCurrentThreadClassLoader(boolean b) should do the job.

OK. I promise I'll come up with a solution for this

in the next version.

Thank you,

Hi, Teodor,

I downloaded 0.46 and, well... Just a reminder.

It is great to know that 0.46 has included an Ant Task compiler and the <background> watermark feature is great, too.

Thank you very much.

I am also looking for a solution to the JRClassLoader issue. Is there a solution coming soon, as I would like to use jasper reports but can't with this issue.

Thanks
