swood Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 Put some quotes around the URL with parameters. Here is what I got: C:\Program Files\GnuWin32\bin>wget "http://radar:8080/jasperserver//flow.html?_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=/reports/samples/AllAccounts&output=pdf&j_username=jasperadmin&j_password=jasperadmin"SYSTEM_WGETRC = c:/progra~1/wget/etc/wgetrc syswgetrc = C:\Program Files\GnuWin32/etc/wgetrc--2009-10-13 13:40:18-- http://radar:8080/jasperserver//flow.html?_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=/reports/samples/AllAccounts&output=pdf&j_username=jasperadmin&j_password=jasperadminResolving radar... 172.17.5.105Connecting to radar|172.17.5.105|:8080... connected.HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OKLength: 1264688 (1.2M) [application/pdf]Saving to: `flow.html@_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=%2Freports%2Fsamples%2FAllAccounts&output=pdf&j_username=jasperadmin&j_password=jasperadmin'100%[======================================>] 1,264,688 51.6K/s in 24s2009-10-13 13:40:52 (51.6 KB/s) - `flow.html@_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=%2Freports%2Fsamples%2FAllAccounts&output=pdf&j_username=jasperadmin&j_password=jasperadmin' saved [1264688/1264688] ShermanJaspersoft Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
southeea Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 Thank you for this example! I was able to get this to work for my reports that do not have any parameters, but I have not figured out how to make it work with parameters. Any ideas on how to add parameters to this command?EDIT: Nevermind...I found what I was looking for elsewhere in this forum by searching for information about using direct URLs to run reports. Parameters go in the URL like you would expect...but you have to uncheck the "Always prompt" check box for your input controls.
