I'm trying to make some kind of header in which I would write which version of iReport I'm using, my name, the date....I tried commenting the xml, but it seems like it is regenerated everytime the report is saved, erasing the comments. The only field that comes close to what I'm looking for is the "Report Name" that I can change... I'm looking for any way to write a comment on a report, maybe something like the "Description" field of a parameter, a variable and a field where you can write whatever you want.
