suppachartt
Hi All,My company uses Oracle 10g and they store data using MOLAP engine. Now in order to use JasperAnalysis, they created a view to their data and I assume that this is not the best way to do it.They claimed that this view is their fact table and aggregate table. What should I do as I can't tell Mondrian that this view is aggregate table due to the fact that this view doesn't have a fact count column. How can I get around this problem? swood
Looks like you have a data model issue. Is the granularity of these aggregated views not right for your needs? From your previous post, the measures are aggregated according to the following dimensions: TIME, PRODUCT, GL_ACCOUNT, CENTRE, ENTITY, CUSTOMER, PROJECT, SPARE, CURRENCY, SCENARIO Do the measures then roll up, ie. sum, average, across those dimensions?
