xiudeng
I would like to provide date inputs to the users, so that they can enter a date range, for example from 12/5/2008 to 1/15/2009, to run an Analysis View. This way the users do not have to select all the dates from the cube. How can I do this? Thanks in advance.Sue
phlunk3
I would also like to know if this is a possibility, preferably I wish to be able to fill my username field with the logged in user, however a prompt would be the next best possibility.Someone, please tell us if this is an option :P
swood
We can't do this for OLAP like we can for reports. One clunky way around it is to create a MDX report that has the date range or other parameters, which has parameterized MDX in it. Have a "To analyze" HTML link in the report that is a generated URL to OLAP .../viewOlap.html?mdx=<your MDX> and put your parameters into the generated MDX query in the link.
