set default output type

Hi everyone,

 

I've gone through the Jasper Server user manual as well as the bowells of the support forum looking for anything that explains how I can go about changing the default output type of reports manually run by a user.  From what I understand, changing the output of a report is as simple as adding "output=<format>" to the report links but I haven't been able to determine where these links are construct ed.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Do you mean you want the user to always see PDF first (for example), rather then HTML?

I know this is an old post but I can not find the answer. Is it possible to make the default output use the pdf format? And if so, how can it be done. Thanks for any answer.
