The thing is I want to print data that I have in some JTextArea fields in my client application. My idea is to create an xml doc on fly and from it generate report. Can I do it this way or is there some other better way. I don't want to use ResultSet as datasource. I'm new to JasperReports and I'm evaluating if I should use it before I start learning it. Thanks.
