JasperETL - Wrong Encoding Setting

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to correctly import a delimited or positional text file? I've tried a number of times without any luck; however, I was able to able to connect to database using an JDBC driver. By the way, I'm using the latest version of JasperETL (2.3.2). I've attached a few screen shots of the simple file I'm trying to read.

Thank you.

This seems to only happen when you try to add a flat file to meta data. Isn't there an easier way to do this?

Hi Dave,

Could you post your flat file? (Or a version of it with just a couple of lines.) That might help others to reproduce the issue. In general I've had no problems with flat files containing accented characters.

Regards,

Matt
