Adhoc reporting

Hi i had created a adhoc report for which i wanted to use a certain date as a FILTER

 

i followed the procedure by creating a parameter and then following up that by creating a date Input Control of the same name as the parameter.

 

But when im trying to run the adhoc report from the server its giving me an error in popup as

 

"You may need to use iReport to change the default values of some parameters."

 

need assistance regarding this error.

Did you mention any default value for the parameter in iReport? If so remove the default value.

 

 

When you are passing the value of parameter through some input control, you dont need to mention the default value for the parameter
