slepmog Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Doing a WAR install since the installer segfaults (according to the docs ubuntu isn't supported, so that's fair enough) Working through "Jasperserver open source installation guide" v 2.1 ubuntu 7.10 server with lamp stack installed with the installer tomcat 5.5 installed via apt-get get a 404 error when connecting to http://[hostname]:8180/jasperserver attached is today's tomcat log file any clues? Solution swood Posted February 20, 2008 Solution Share Posted February 20, 2008 As the log says, you have some other process running on port 8180. You will need to configure Tomcat to run on a different port. You could configure Tomcat to be an Apache plugin if needed.
