nodata Band

hai,

 

i would like to try a nodata band.

report properties -> more -> when no data i select no data section

 

 

but when i run the report my static text does not visible.

 

how to use that band ?

you need to set the report document property - When no data - All sections, no detail option.

Try creating a static text filed and place the following in the Print when expression

Code:

new Boolean($V{REPORT_COUNT}.intValue()==0)

If you reports returns no results, this message should be printed on the report. I normally put this static text field in my summary band.

your tips i already use. but i just want to know how to use nodata band.

 

nodata band to use automatic show the object that inside that band, i am right ?
