supress group header based on the sum of the group

Hi,

 

My report has a group.

I created a variable to summarize a DB field and put it on the group header as a textfield with de evaluation time to group. Good, That works fine.

 

Now my problem is: I want to suppress the groupHeader if the sum is zero(0) but I can only refer to the variable and it always come with the value zero.

Is there a way to do it? Is there a way to refer to the that textfield which has the sum?

It sounds like you may not have set the Evaluation Time property to the correct value. Try setting that to the correct group and see if your Print when expression works as expected.

It SHOWS the correct sum.

But that is the textfield evaluation time, not the variable´s evaluation time.

 

One thing is to SHOW the correct result, the other is how to get that (knowing that it is being shown in a text field) to put that in the "print when expression".
