haroon
Hi all, I have an issue with the Workbench. I'm using "2.3.2.9247 version". In fact, the jdbc-mysql connection works in iReport tool. But when I try to use it in workbench by creating a schema it does not work ! the message showed: "Database connection could not be done.com.mysql.jdbc.DriverAll validations related to Database will be ignored"
swood
As indicated in the documentation, you have to put a MySQL driver jar in the workbench/drivers directory. ShermanJasperSoft
spandalai
I am getting the same error as well. I checked the drivers directory. It has mysql-connector-java-5.0.5-bin.jar and postgresql-8.2-504.jdbc3.jar files. How do i go about solving this. Please advice.
hiloturk
for linux (ubuntu), i found there is an error in the script "workbench.sh". you should delete the lineCP=$CP:drivers/$i and REPLACE withCP=$CP:$i
