kolja.ehlersiconplc.com
I am trying to do the same thing. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks
kchaudhry
I have a work around for this. I used images instead of fonts. So basically create two images1. Blank Box2. Check BoxNow place them on the report canvas on top of each other and then use the "print when expression" to conditionally display them. Hope this helps! kolja.ehlersiconplc.com
Yes, that would work. But in my case the "Wingdings" font does show up in my pdf report, so it almost okay for me. This is a display error in iReport i thought there is an easy way to fix this. Thanks anyway
mdahlman
kehlers,The original post and your follow-up both didn't mention PDF. If your report works in the report view and in HTML but only fails in PDF then this is the likely problem: The key ideas that you need are on the Font tab for the field. You probably didn't set the PDF Font Name and PDF Encoding, since these aren't needed to get the report working well in the report viewer or in HTML. But you need to set them correctly for PDF. kolja.ehlersiconplc.com
Thanks Matt for trying to help, but you got me wrong. In my case the custom font DOES show up exactly like I want it in the PDF and in HTML output. But iReport only shows funny squares rather than the actual font. I have attached 2 screenshots to illustrate the problem. Thanks
