Unable to return value from sub report to master

Hello,

can anybody tell me how to return values from sub report to master report ??

create a variable in master report eg: Total and set calculation type as system. right click the subreport and select the properties and goes to sub report other tab and add sub report return value

such as type your sub report return variable name...select the main report variable from drop down list.. think it will helps you
