lduperval
Hi, I have downloaded jasper reports, jasperserver and iReport. While installing jasperServer, I read the license agreement, and I don't understand it. If I downloaded from SourceForge, am I working with the Open Source version? Or are the Pro and Open Source versions one and the same? The license agreement says "this is either a 30 day evaluation version or not". Can anyone clear this up for me, please? Thanks, L
csbac
Hi!I'm not a Jasper developer, yet IMO:If you downloaded it from SourceForge, it's open source and thus the LGPL version. The pro version you can't "just download" there. Sebastian
tkavanagh
It is only possible to download the Open Source version of JasperServer from JasperForge.org or SourceForge.org. So, you have the OS, GPL version of JasperServer. Pro customers download things from a different site. The license is a bit confusing in this case (one license is trying to work for all products). I'll raise the issue internally about making this part of the license clearer. -Tony
lduperval
Ok, thank you for the clarification. If I may, I think putting the GPL as a license in the OS version would remove that confusion. Thanks, L
