help needed - subreports

Hi

 

I am new to JasperReport and I need help in subreports:

 

I need to generate a simple report that contains a title, some parameters and 2 subreports, lets call them A and B. A and B contain only 1 page of static text. Can you give me an example how to do that? I can generate two subreports and a master report with title and those parameters but neither A nor B are included.

 

Please, can you give me an example how to do that?

Hi,

 

If you do not provide a data source for the subreports (they contain only static text right?) then at least make sure the subreport templates have whenNoDataType="AllSectionsNoDetail" and that the static text is not put in the detail of the subreports, because you would not see it.
