java.awt.Image Oracle iReport

I must print an image from a field Long Raw on database Oracle. As read in the topic of the forum I have modified the type of the field image from byte[] to java.awt.Image.

 

In this way iReport 1.3.0 work correctly in the development environment, but when i call jasper report from my application gives one exception to me:

 

unable to get value for field 'IMG' of class java.awt.Image.

 

It seems that when I use jasper report from my application passing logon jdbc connection the forced field comes replaced to byte[]

 

There is someone that can help me? Thanks.

I have found a possible solution replacing the field long raw with a type field blob that it comes read like oracle.sql.BLOB.

 

This new blob field is put within a field of type image forced to java.io.InputStream and as expression I use campoblob.getBinaryStream().

 

In this way the report works correctly also from my application.
