  1. It was what I feared… to have to calculate how many lines are between header and footer! In order to resolve the problem currently I am estimated in the temporary table that step to report the total of the line number; therefore control in the footer that the total calculated in the report is equal to the total in the temporary table. As far as the vertical lines from the header to the footer… for the moment I have left to lose! I hope that in one of the next versions of iReport lines can be made that they cross the sections! Thanks however for your precious councils.
  2. I have the same problem described in this topic and wanted to know if then you are resolutions to resolve the problem. Moreover I would want to know as you have resolved the problem of the vertical lines in order to delimit the columns in the body of the invoice from the header to the footer. Thanks.
  3. Hello Mike, thanks for the help attempt. You have tried the solution that you have proposed to me? I have verified that not works … Unfortunately this problem absolutely was not previewed in Crystal Report because it is possible to design single lines and rectangles that overlap sections… and now in iReport I do not know how to make this ... Anyone can help me?
  4. I cannot believe that no one has never developed a report with jasper for the print of a invoice or transport document. How have you solved the problem of the vertical lines of the columns which go from header to footer seen that it is impossible to know the number of details beforehand? Can anyone help me ... Giulio ... Teodor ... Thanks.
  5. I must develop to the press of a module invoice. Every column in detail in the body of the invoice is delimited in classic way from edges that join the head of the document to the foot. It is the rectangles that the lines cannot go in overflow in the bands of the report therefore do not succeed to understand as I can make of the continuous lines… Someone has already resolved the problem? Thanks.
  6. I need having a variable one string where to hang various fields. This operation in Crystal Report came then made declaring a field of Stringvar type and hanging gradually the necessary fields. Practically I have need to carry out of the operations type $V{variable} = $V{variable} + $F{field} under various conditions. Unfortunately me it seems to have understood that this is not possible in iReport therefore is to ask like being able to make. Thanks
  7. I have found a possible solution replacing the field long raw with a type field blob that it comes read like oracle.sql.BLOB. This new blob field is put within a field of type image forced to java.io.InputStream and as expression I use campoblob.getBinaryStream(). In this way the report works correctly also from my application.
  8. I must print an image from a field Long Raw on database Oracle. As read in the topic of the forum I have modified the type of the field image from byte[] to java.awt.Image. In this way iReport 1.3.0 work correctly in the development environment, but when i call jasper report from my application gives one exception to me: unable to get value for field 'IMG' of class java.awt.Image. It seems that when I use jasper report from my application passing logon jdbc connection the forced field comes replaced to byte[] There is someone that can help me? Thanks.

  11. Hi, excuse if I ask a silly question but I am new of iReport. We suppose that I have a group in which the group code is exposed and his two descriptions. code description1 description2 The second description could be null and I would like to be able not to print the description and to compress the band height so that there is only the first description. Is there someone which can do me an example on as do? Thanks. Greetings.
