eccoilmoro
Hi all!I don't know where to post a feature request, therefore I use this forum (forgive me if it's not appropriate). The feature I'd like to request is subtotal definition support in report wizard . I think it would be a very useful feature since most times you define a group you have to define group totals too.

eccoilmoro
Perhaps I'm missing something... but I really cannot find such functionality on the iReport (1.3) wizard. The wizard proposes the following steps :1. Query2. Fields selection3. Group by4. Layout5. Finish The 'group by' step doesn't allow to define subtotals picking the fields you'd like to sum over the group. What am I missing? Where is the feature? Be patient...Post edited by: eccoilmoro, at: 2006/12/29 14:

Giulio Toffoli
You can not make a subtotal from the report wizard, but you can do it easily dragging the "Total" tool from the library into the report design.iReport will guide you in the creation of the subtotal, it will detect where you are dragging the total to figure out what kind of rupture set for your total.
