float round problem

Hi everybody, i am doing a report with a couple o groups and i am having some problems, It seems that jasper is no adding ok ... which it sounds wrong for me, but i can not find a solution. Check this out.

 

I have a goup with this data:

 

95185.70

65793.00

77000.00

74255.50

69440.00

 

total

 

381674.19 instead of 381674.20

 

data are TextField linked to Fields of Database en Postgresql 8, and are automatically mapped to java.lang.Float

 

the total is a sum variable.

Hi,

 

If you want to have precise calculations, you should have all the numeric values in java.math.BigDecimal.
