Crosstab data in Pie Chart

Hi

How can I use crosstab data to populate a pie chart?

I am using Jasper1.2.3.

My requirement is to generate a pie chart using crosstab row totals. Is it posiible?

Any help in this is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

 

The crosstab has a special calculation engine that produces aggregated data which is not available outside the crosstab.

If you want to have a chart that display the same data as the crosstab, then you just need to fill them using the same subDataset, but of course different datasetRun instances.

The chart component would calculate the totals again from the raw data in the subDataset.

Teodor, Can you explain me how to use subDataset with different datasetRun instance in the same report?
