Controlling Number of Records Per Page

Hi,

 

I'm a newbie here, just wanted to know if there's any

way to specify the exact number of records to be

displayed in a Jasper report page. (eg. 10 records per page).

 

Also will it be possible to configure this (ie #of

records per page) as a report parameter.

Hi,

 

Yes it is possible.

Check the "BreakGroup" in the "jasper" sample.

It breaks every 5 records, but you can use

a parameter for the number of records you want.

You'll have to use isStartNewPage="true" for such

a group and there you go.
