Numeric Field Type for CSV Datasource instead of String

Hello,

is it possible to change the field type of a column while using a CSV Datasource? The type is by default String even if there are numbers in the File.

Since I want to use those data for a chart, I get some java.lang.String cannot be cast to java.lang.Number exception when I try to create the report.

Maybe there is a way to convert those data to numbers?

Just open up Dataset and Query dialog and edit the datatype to be Integer instead of the default String.

For your information, Dataset and Query dialog can be opened by selecting the second icon from the left in Jaspersoft Studio.
