hafer
Hi, I downloaded and installed the 30 Day Evaluation of Jasper Server 6.0 and am getting a "License Failed" error. This is on Windows Server 2008 running Pivotal tc Server with Tomcat 7. Jasper server 6.0 is running but, when using the license file from the extraction, it is showing a message: License Failed null null (see image below.) Please let me know what else I could do to resolve this.Thank you,Christopher
ryanp424
Hello Christopher,If you remove the licensefailed.html portion of the URL the error will go away. The error is actually valid when you don't see the null/null on the page.
Solution hafer Posted December 9, 2014 Author Solution Share Posted December 9, 2014 Thank you for the suggestion but if I remove that part in the URL, the website just forwards back to that URL. What I did to resolve this was delete the cached files and/or folders "inside" of the jasperserver-pro folder (path below) then restart tomcat 7. This is from the instructions on the slide-show video when switching between the different levels with the 30 Day Evaluation server. On Windows 2008 using Pivotal tc Server:%TOMCAT_HOME%workCatalinalocalhostjasperserver-pro
