We added the Jasper Report module and as mentioned in its documentation, iReports is used to create a Jasper Report. Now, we can't install the latest version of the iReport. Is it possible to have the Jasper Report as an alternative to iReport? Although I haven't found a documentation of a JasperReport server in OpenMRS. TIBCO Jaspersoft offers two Report Designers. iReport Designer, which will be end-of-lifed soon, and Jaspersoft Studio, an Eclipse based Report Designer. So, the alternative to iReport is Jaspersoft Studio. The commercial version of JasperReports Server includes an 'Ad Hoc' Report Designer, which is simpler than either iReport or Studio, and is meant for quick what-if analysis.Again, iReport Designer will be end-of-lifed soon.
