Can I make dynamic database connection through iReport 5.6.0 ?

Hi All,

I've been searching on google how to solve my problem but still no answer yet.

What I gonna do is, I make a program using netbeans 7.4 which has dynamic database connection. So, user can change database connection by selecting database file (only .mdb file).

The problem is, whenever user want to print or preview the report, I dont know how to make iReport connect to user's database. Because, the database is not decided by the programmer but user choose it.

If anyone can solve or just give me a clue, inform me soon.

iReport is a report creation (jrxml) tool. It'll create a jrxml file which you can use in your custom program supporting dynamic database connection.

But, I though to get a jrxml data, we should make connection first to database. But, what I want is report that could automatically connect to get the database data.
