Performance in Jaspersoftstudio5.5 Windows 7 - 64 bit

Hello,

after installing Jaspersoftstudio5.5 on windows-7-PCs, 64 bit, we mentioned a horrible bad performance - just to open an existing data-adapter it takes 5 minutes! Working on a report is nearly senseless - to open a field-characterics takes several minutes. We are working local without of a repository. The machine has an intel core i5, main-storage is 6 GB.

Has anybody a good idea to help us?

You're proabaly not allocating enough memory to the JVM. Physical memory is not not equal to amount of memory used by your applcation server. You'll have to setup your application server to use available physical memory.
