Html element input

Hi all,

I would like to know if it's possible to write a JasperReport variable with a Html element : Name :
As you can see above when the user write a name in the text field input and click on button Find the jaspert report variable will be write.
After that, my aim is to draw a chart. The report will be executed after each search name in database.

If you're using JasperReports Server Professional edition, defining a parameter in the report and saving it to a JasperReport Server repository and setting up an input control will do what you want to do without any programming.

In fact, it's also possible to put hyperlinks in report elements such as parts of graph and text to link to other reports and external web resources.

I'm actually creating web information sites this way for our customers.

Hi,
Thanks a lot hozawa for your answer. I've created a parameter which can be set up before generating the report in JasperSoft Studio. I will also try to create an input control on Jasper Server later.
